International Gospel Ministries (IGM) didn’t start in a large auditorium, but in the heart of a man with a mandate. Bishop Dr. Walter Ogwada received a divine call to bring total restoration and spiritual awakening to the people of Migori County.
The ministry began as a small fellowship of believers gathered in a modest setting, fueled by a hunger for the authentic move of the Holy Spirit. Despite the challenges of the early years, the foundation was laid on two unshakable pillars: Fervent Prayer and the Uncompromising Word of God.
What started as a local gathering quickly outgrew its surroundings as lives were transformed, the sick were healed, and the broken found a home. This growth led to the establishment of our Main Auditorium in Migori Town—a spiritual lighthouse that now serves thousands across the region and reaches a global audience through our digital platforms.
Today, IGM stands as a testament to God’s faithfulness. Under the leadership of Bishop Walter and Rev. Florence Ogwada, we continue to “March Forward,” staying true to our original mission: Loving God, Loving People, and Living as Disciples.
Bishop Dr. Walter Ogwada is a seasoned minister of the Gospel with a profound calling to spiritual restoration and leadership. Known for his deep prophetic insight and a heart for intercession, he has spent over two decades building International Gospel Ministries from a small fellowship into a regional powerhouse of faith.
His ministry is defined by the mandate of “Marching Forward,” a message that has empowered thousands to break through stagnation and claim their divine heritage. As a mentor to many, the Bishop combines sound biblical teaching with a practical approach to modern-day challenges, ensuring that the Word of God translates into visible victory in the lives of his congregants.
