With a ministry spanning over three decades, Bishop Dr. Walter and Florence Ogwada have dedicated their lives to the spiritual and social transformation of Migori and the nations beyond. As the founders of International Gospel Ministries, they lead with a profound passion for Biblical Truth, Family Restoration, and Spiritual Empowerment.
Bishop Dr. Walter is recognized as a father in the faith, known for his prophetic insight and his commitment to raising a generation that walks in divine purpose. Alongside him, Florence Ogwada serves with a heart for women’s ministry and family stability, ensuring that the church remains a true home for the broken and a launching pad for the called.
Their ministry is defined by the ‘Second Chance’ message—a belief that no matter one’s past, God’s grace is sufficient to rebuild and restore. Together, they continue to oversee the growth of IGM HQ in Migori, while mentoring leaders and planting churches that carry the light of the Gospel to the unreached.
A Vision Planted in Migori International Gospel Ministries (IGM) began as a small gathering of believers in Migori with a singular vision: to reach the unreached. Driven by a mandate to restore the ‘broken temples’ of men and women, Bishop Dr. Walter and Florence Ogwada started with a handful of followers, meeting in a humble setting but carrying a global vision. A Message of Restoration As the ministry grew, it became a lighthouse for those seeking a fresh start. The ‘Second Chance’ message became the heartbeat of IGM, drawing people from all walks of life—those who felt forgotten or beyond hope. This period saw the establishment of the IGM HQ in Migori, transforming it into a hub for spiritual mentorship and apostolic oversight. From Local to International What started in a single room expanded into a network of branches. IGM’s impact began to be felt across Kenya and beyond through conventions, international missions, and media outreach.
